Dental Staff

All professionals at Frederick J. Carbone, DDS maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the medical field. Read on to learn more about our staff's experience and training.

Dr. Frederick J. Carbone, DDS: (Fred) Dr. Carbone received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and had a second major in Sociology from Boston College. He then went on to receive his Degree in Dental Surgery from Georgetown University. He has been happily practicing at this location since 1984. He is a "doer" and loves to have projects going on around the house and office. He is also an advocate for everything that is involved with lake life. . 

Donna Michaelson: Donna is our Office Manager. She is both a registered and certified Dental Assistant and has a year of Hygiene training. Donna is the go to person in the office who will accomplish any task that the patients and staff need accomplished. Donna is a mom and can often be found exercising in many of the local parks around the office. She has worked in the office in many capacities since 1985. 

Daisy Arroyo Blanco: Daisy is our Assistant Office Manager. She has her X-ray license and has worked as both an assistant and a receptionist. She is often the one on the other end of the phone when you call, and will be handling much of our screening and appointment management. Daisy has three children. She began in our practice as a young patient, and became a member of our team in 2003. 

Yvonne Carney: Yvonne is a registered Dental Hygienist. She will be one of the Hygienists who will be cleaning your teeth and teaching you the proper art of home care. She has a gentle touch and is thorough and precise. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to dentistry and is an excellent source to answer any questions you may have about your care. Yvonne has two children, and became a member of out team in 2001. 

Joanne Tietjen: Joanne is a registered Dental Hygienist. She is one of the people who will be cleaning your teeth, and instructing you how to best maintain your dental health. She brought our office a great deal of experience and contributes greatly to the attention to detail necessary to be a top quality office. She is an excellent hygienist and a valuable member of our dental team.  She will make your visit a positive experience, and joined our team in 2014. 

Jeanine Sheridan: Jeanine is a registered and certified Dental Assistant. Everyone who comes to the office gets to know and love Jeanine. She is caring, meticulous in her attention to detail, and has the special ability to make people laugh and feel comfortable in the stressful situation of being a dental patient. Jeanine is a mother of two, just happens to be Donna's sister, and has been a member of our team since 1988. 

Nicole Cardone Tamburello: Nicole is a Dental Assistant who has her X-ray license and will be sitting across from Dr. Carbone through many of the procedures that are accomplished in the office. Her knowledge of the procedures makes her an asset through her ability to more than assist in the procedure by thinking ahead and always having the next instrument ready before it is asked for. Nicole is a mom to three girls, and started in the practice as a young patient. She has been a member of the team since 2005 

Ellen Rosa: Ellen was Dr. Carbone's first Assistant and Office Manager beginning in 1984. She left to work for an airline to allow her to follow her passion for travel. While she still works for the airline, she has returned to the office part time to do a little of everything. She is capable and will be found in the afternoons doing whatever needs attention. She is an asset to the practice and a good friend to all the staff and patients.
